Guy Named Jason Featured as Sous Chef for Powell's 'Farm to Table' Event

Park County received its first sobering bite of fall, this week. However, not even the rain nor chilly temperatures could take away from Friday the 13th's Farm to Table event. The Powell celebration of locally-sourced cuisine ingredients, in conjunction with Homesteader Days, is set for a 6pm kickoff at Washington Park. Determined to up the ante from last year, promoters of the event have brought in a broody but well-versed sous chef, Mr. Jason Voorhees.

Son of classically trained camp-cook, Pamela Voorhees, Jason comes to Powell with decorated stats. An event insider dished to The Telegraph with all pun intended,

'Jason is a sharp guy on the cutting edge of umami-themed cuisine. His Chateaubriand is to die for. Makes Salt Bae look like a total chump. Killer cook.'
